Oak back in the days of splatbrothers (rest in peace) there was 24 full hours of game play. They went from 10am Saturday to 2am Sunday and then 9am to 5pm during the day. Splatbrothers would schedule events with the full moon so players could see better at night. Now with fields owners cutting back the 24hr games died off.
SSK did an constant 24hr event one time it went from noon Saturday to noon Sunday no breaks. We had to eat and sleep in shifts to keep our team on the field the whole time. It was pretty awesome. We were the only team that did that and took home 3 awards that game.

I heard stories from caveman and others about how it was so dark during night play people just held positions and someone on SSK surrendered like 20 guys cause they thought we had more than one player in an area.
I looked forward to that type of nightplay when I first went down to ABP. Was disappointed.

I just want to clarify while we do want night play to last as late as possible it really is up to player participation and numbers on the field. I am down. Unless somehow the navy messes up and selects me for the next paygrade and they release the results on friday the 31st. Reguardless of thise two rare occasions hapoening, I need to know who plans on staying at my place.

It was about an hour drive last time to OXCC. I am also about 4 hours from norfolk if you are experienced with avoiding the traffic. Also if you wanted to ensure less traffic and want to pay you can come up bay bridge. Let me know.
