the more i think about it the more i want to just start with the kind that can use a hopper and tank how do they differ in accuracy and consistency?

Not much, the 'pumps are more accurate' myth is just that a myth. you are still firing a gelatinous liquid filled ball at 285 feet per second.You are forced to pick and chose your shots more because you can't use accuracy by volume. It becomes a subtle shift in your way of thinking when you play. I tend to avoid straight up gun fights and look for the sneak attack. It carried over into my electro play, I think.
It does take some getting used to, at least it did for me. It may take a couple weekends to figure it out and change your play style.
I still have my Trracer and Autococker and I will break them out when the mood strikes, I don't see myself getting rid of them. I don't think anyone has seen me play pump in a long long time hence my silence in this thread.
