Yeh im using the stock 10rnd tube system that came with it. No i havent done any upgrades because i feel the gun is solid just the way it is. I did change the grips to blue . But thats just for looks. I'm having an issue with my clamping feedneck not tightening down far enough for any of my gravity hoppers. I've got the Proto Primo and the GxG 40rd hoppers. Both of them swivel loosely. In the interim, I'm using a Red Camo Dye Rotor (the colors match) and it fits like any normal loader should. I thought about wrapping some electrical tape around the other gravity hoppers, but I don't like the idea of something "jerry-rigged" to work. Replacement aftermarket feednecks? Any other thoughts?

*Grumble Grumble Grumble*
Guess I'll keep an eye out for any Empire label replacement feednecks. I hate mix-n-matching my markers with brands that aren't OEM. *sigh*
Until then... tape it is.

As most of you know I'm a stock class player, and I feel that jerry-rigging is the heart and soul of pump play. I'm no guru, maybe to stupid to try anything else. That and it seems to works for me and I have fun with it. If it ain't broke...
I run with a beautiful work of art know as the phantom. Many of you know of the versatility and customization of the phantom. I've got many setups, but my "go to" is a vertical stock class mini. Which includes a freak barrel with a white wolf air 1.5 inch tip and a wevo under cocking mod. It's all in a classic sliver with black accents.
I favor my phantom for many reasons. It's light weight and I never tire from carrying it. It's low profile lets me move in ways other only dream of. Its quiet and I can fire several round without being noticed. It forces me to play smarter. Plus many others, I could go on for days about it. It just fits my play style.
You have to be aggressive and focus on your advantages, which are there tons. Know your limits, your role, and which fights are worth fighting. It's important to see the bigger picture.
People talk and stare at me with amazement. Opponents fear my eliteness. Kids have looked up to me. Maybe this is all in my head. But you just have to have fun with it. I'm definitely a different person on the field then off. I walk tall carrying my phantom and my head gets bigger ever time someone tells me they bought a phantom because of me. It's a great feeling.

I'd have to agree with almost every point you made for playing pump. Personally, I don't like making my own mods and Frankenstein-ing my things. Nothing against those, like you, that do so. I just prefer to leave things either completely stock, or upgrade/modify my things with OEM parts. I do the same thing with my cars and most everything else. But mad props to those that are creative enough.
Now, going back... to run pump removes the crutch that so many players rely on (high rates of fire and larger volumes of ammo). Anyone can practice rolling a trigger (and even fine tuning the position of the trigger makes it even easier to pick up that "pro"-like ability). But when you run pump, you're now relying on YOU as the aspect to garner those kills. Your body position is now more crucial (as is being able to hit those quarter-sized parts of your opponents that are exposed). You develop a keen awareness of the entire field, and not just the 2-3 guys in front of you. Being lighter in your gear now opens you up to moving faster with a smaller profile. And on and on come the benefits. All you have to do is sacrifice the large quantities of paint you carry and volume of paint you throw. But in time, those won't even matter.
And if you ever go BACK to use your War-Machine from time to time, what you've just done is honed all of the skills of moving, running, snapping, reading the field, etc... and added the fire-power. You can't go wrong running with a pump.

If someone wouldn't mind letting me try a pump during the Saturday scenario that would be awesome. I'm thinking of getting a pump but I want to try the style before I go investing in a marker.

What style pump are you thinking about going to? "Rock n' Cock" or Open?

Rock n' Cock, named for the act of tilting your marker, aka rocking, and cocking to load your round. 10(or 15) rounds "Stock Class" or with a hopper in "Open Class." Come on, you got to get hip on the lingo with you roll with a pump.
Just messing with ya. We tend to be very welcoming and helpful to anyone that joins our ranks.
